I was going through coupons and came across an ad saying that Papa John's Pizza will honor all competitor's coupons and if you use one of the coupons, Papa John's will also give you a 'sweettreat' free. I just ordered from them and used a competitor coupon and they honored it.

Town and Country Yard Sale
My apartment complex is hosting a yard sale, and my family and I are in it. It's on June 6th from 8am - 3pm. If rain is in the forecast, the yard sale will be moved to June 13th. We are also selling some of our furniture. Our complex is off of Cunningham, on Kerr Avenue - Town and Country Apartments. Hope to see you all there!

free book through kids reading program
My cousin told me about a reading program for kids through Barnes and Noble. They are offering a free book if kids read a certain number of books over the summer. It doesn't help me, since I have no kids...but I thought I'd pass it along because it sounds like fun. See the link below:

Humane Society HUGE Garage Sale!
I wanted to post this because James and I went to this sale, and got a really nice comfy plush couch nearly new for 20$. They also have a great Christmas section that we snagged ALL of our Christmas items for ultra cheap! This is by far the coolest and biggest garage sale of the entire summer, and you won't want to miss it! All entry fees go to the humane society, so it's for a good cause. Also, it'll be great to get rid of some unused items when you are spring cleaning.

Free KFC
Just a heads up: This is an offer recently aired on the Oprah Winfrey show. Go to this site to download up to four free coupons for a full meal at KFC (including two pieces of grilled chicken, two sides, and a biscuit).

It says "at participating locations," so you could call the KFC near you and ask if they're participating before you make the trip. Anyway, it's good until May 19th. Enjoy!

Need some advice
I've been contemplating a project, but have run into a dilemma. I have a headboard that I'm fixing up, but I want to cover up a hole someone made in it to put cord through, presumably for a lamp or something. I was thinking about several things I could use- it's a headboard with a bookshelf/cubby type setup. I looked at decorative tile, but they were around $7 a pop. I also looked at a textured, raised wallpaper, but that was $14 a roll and I only need a few squares. Does anyone else know of a cheap fix? I was thinking about grass cloth but I don't know where to buy that or how expensive it is. Fabric would be cheap but difficult to put on because it's not stiff and frays. I'm probably going to paint whatever I put on there. Any help would be much appreciated!

Update: So I've added some pictures. There's an antique cabinet (another project that I'm planning to refinish once the weather cooperates) that I'm trying to tie together with the headboard that's kind of why I wanted a little decorative embellishment on the headboard. Nothing too matchy matchy, but I wanted the headboard to look a little more intricate. And I do plan to paint the entire headboard.
