Swim mask goggles $4.30 for 2 pair at Sam's

Sam's club has Bodyglove brand youth swim goggles (mask style) on sale for $4.30 for 2 pair (reulalrly $14 or so). They are for older kids or youth--they barely fit my 7-year-old's narrow face, but fit a 5-year-old's wide face. As of this morning, they still had 20+ packages on the swimming pool stuff isle.

$10 gift card

I've never done this before, but it looked real. Free mall gift certificate for $10. http://www.shopsmartlookfab.com/GiftCards I think there is one deal that you have to spend $75, but the other is an actual gift card that you pick up and have to use that day.

Museum Day, September 26

Free passes are available for museums around the country on Saturday, September 26th. Check out the website here to search for a museum:

http://microsite.smithsonianmag.com/museumday/venue.html

and then go here to print your pass, which is good for you and one other person:

http://microsite.smithsonianmag.com/museumday/admission.html

I assume both you and your spouse could print one, which would make the passes good for four people. All of the museums in our area that are participating are always free admission (Krannert Art Museum, Spurlock Museum, and Parkland Art Gallery), so it's not of much use here. But if you're planning a trip, it might be something to check out.

Cheap Bananas

There are some slightly bruised bananas at Jerry's IGA for 99 cents a package(there's around 6 in each package). I figure it's about 30 cents per pound. It's the Jerry's on Kirby across from Custard Cup. Sue Carlson
