the BEST hair cutting place in town!

I wanted to tell you of this amazing find for all those who are tired of the choppy wal-mart haircuts and need a professional!

There's a salon off of Cunningham Avenue that is called "The Color Exchange." I believe the owner is Stacy, and she hand picks only a select few of her graduating students to work with her, so they are ONLY the very best in the hair cutting business.

I went in only because my brother, mother in law and husband all raved about her god advice, wonderful time getting their hair cut, and had people work on their hair that clearly knew what they were doing. Stacy is a complete sweetheart and gave me some free shampoo samples to try for my horrible greasy hair problem. If one worked she said she would order some in for me. If none didn't work we would try more samples. How much nicer can you get? She catered to my needs to cut off a certain amount of hair, and told me what I could do better to maintain long hair. It's a wonderful place and I can vouch by me and all my family that they know what they're doing, and for a VERY reasonable price.

The coolest thing about their place is they have a very trendy consignment shop IN the salon, with tons of things like cool clothing, dvd's, gorgeous jewelery, shoes and home decor. I have bought as well as brought goodies there because I thought it was very cool. It's a nice place to look around while waiting as well as after your haircut.

The last thing they have is a massage table in a very zen-like room, and you can get massages as well there.

I just wanted to share this with you because I always find it difficult to get a professional hair stylist for a reasonable price. I've had many a stylist chop my hair off and had bad haricuts before Stacy. I hope you guys enjoy her as much as I did.

Here is the address:

1206 N Cunningham Ave
Urbana, IL 61802

It's by Domino's Pizza and El Toro's, kind of in a slightly hidden location (It's a treasure find!)

They charge 15$ a haircut (shampoo included), male or female, and they are open until 7pm and closed on Mondays.

HOORAY FOR NEW HAIR!
