Three Sales: craft supply, Christmas items, and furniture!

via Louise Dunn (355-1935):

Sisters, I have sold my house and will be leaving the last week of July. Between now and then, I hope to have a couple of private sales.

The first is a private garage sale for mostly craft/scrapbooking/card making/stamping items and craft storage items on the Fourth of July from 7-9 AM at my home, which I am opening to the Tri-Ward list. I am hoping this is early enough on a holiday that sisters can leave kids with their husband or trade-off because my garage will be full of tables. Items will be ridiculously priced and well-worth the trip! I only ask that you bring $1’s and $5’s so I don’t have to break $10’s or $20’s. I don’t have anything out, but I can tell you there are many rubber stamps, many new scrapbooks, several scrapbook kits, hundreds of sheets of paper and cardstock, and untold numbers of embellishments and stickers that will be available, in addition to craft supplies and possibly some fabric. Because of the numbers, many things will be “make an offer” so I don’t have to price them. If you are looking for some specific craft item, call me on Tuesday night and I can tell you if I have something that meets your need.

The next installment will be Christmas items. I have collections of angel, Santa, and snowmen ornaments that I alternated annually on my 3 trees. I have many hand-painted Christmas decorations and other fun Christmas decorating items. Christmas in July will be in a week or two.

I also have a well-made (This End Up! Furniture) pine desk and family or living room furniture set (sofa [with optional trays that sit on the arms for eating on or doing homework], side table, coffee table, and entertainment center) that I will be putting on Craigslist. If anyone is interested, let me know. Pictures are attached. The entertainment center comes with a perfectly good television (old school, though, not flat screen). This is durable furniture for families. My niece is using the furniture for her family that my sister bought when her own children were young 25 years ago!
